At Progress House Residential Care Home Plumstead, we provide a therapeutic approach in a residential setting for young people from 8 to 17 years old who struggle with complex behaviours. We have a wealth of experience in helping young people who struggle with Social, Emotional and Mental Health. All our staff are fully trained to a high standard to support the young people.

SAFE Guarding
The welfare and safeguarding of the young people in our care is of paramount importance, we have designated safeguarding leads level 3 trained staff, as well as the outside parties that we work with.
We have a culture of accountability, and a robust framework of policies and procedures relating to the welfare of our young people. This includes procedures for managing complaints, allegations and all other matters relating to the safety of our young people. We are very careful in selecting the companies and organisations that we work with to ensure the safety of every young person in our care
Supporting our young people to prepare for the next step is a vital part of our work. We work with young people and their families in preparation for their independence. We support, help and mentor our young people to prepare for the move into an independent living. We understanding that this process can be difficult and daunting but we work to make the transition as smooth as possible, and continue contact and assistance for as long as it is required.
